Strategic Plan

Extending Our Legacy — A Five-Year Vision for Faith, Excellence, and Impact in the Fine and Performing Arts.

Extending Our Legacy

As a leading Christ-centered educational institution in the fine and performing arts, Fashionista Studios recognizes that faithful stewardship of our mission requires honest assessment — of where we are today, where God is calling us tomorrow, and how we will get there together.

We extend our hand to the communities we serve and invite many voices and perspectives into this process. Our strategic plan is not built in isolation — it is shaped by our students, our faculty, our industry partners, and the broader communities of Chattanooga, Nashville, Atlanta, and Miami. This collaborative approach ensures that every department is prepared to navigate the cultural landscape, advance educational excellence, and remain anchored in our founding mission: to raise up Angels on Earth who shine their light in Jesus through the fine and performing arts.

Goals & Objectives

The Fashionista Studios Strategic Plan is designed to keep us focused on our mission and vision — both in this first year of operation and across the next five years of growth. Our motto, "Let Your Light Shine with Jesus," is not merely an aspiration. It is the standard by which we measure every decision, every program, and every investment we make in our students and our institution.

Fashionista Studios adopted the name ANGELS because we believe that God not only sends His angels to support and surround us, but that we are guided by the Angels of Light in our faith through Jesus Christ. It is fitting, then, that our strategic mission is encapsulated in the acronym ANGELS — six pillars that define who we are, how we serve, and what we are building.

Authentic Christian Culture

Authentic Christian Culture

Everything at Fashionista Studios flows from a genuine, living faith. We are not a secular institution with a Christian veneer — we are a community where Christ is central to the classroom, the studio, the stage, and the hallway. We cultivate an environment where students are free to explore their gifts, wrestle with their calling, and grow in their relationship with God without apology or compromise. Our faculty model authentic faith. Our programs are grounded in a Christian worldview. And our culture — the way we treat one another, the standards we uphold, and the community we build — reflects the character of Christ in every dimension of institutional life.

New Birth in Covenant of God

New Birth in Covenant of God

Fashionista Studios was founded on the conviction that transformation — not merely education — is the highest goal of our work. We believe that every student who enters our programs carries the potential for new birth: a renewal of purpose, identity, and calling that comes through a right relationship with God. Our covenant with our students is not simply academic. We commit to walking alongside them as they discover who God made them to be, develop the gifts He placed within them, and step into the vocations He has prepared for them. This covenant shapes how we advise, how we mentor, how we counsel, and how we celebrate every milestone along the way.

Grace & Glory of God

Grace & Glory of God in Our Commitment to the Community & Student Body

We operate under grace — the unmerited favor of God that calls us to extend the same generosity, patience, and compassion to our students and our communities that God has extended to us. And we operate for His glory — meaning that every certificate earned, every performance staged, every portfolio completed, and every career launched is ultimately an act of worship. Our commitment to the community and student body is an expression of this grace and glory. We invest in our students not because they have earned it, but because God has entrusted them to us. We serve our communities not because it advances our brand, but because it advances His kingdom.

E

Engaged Community

Engaged Community

Fashionista Studios is not a passive institution. We are actively engaged — with our students, our alumni, our industry partners, our local communities, and the broader world of the fine and performing arts. Engagement means showing up: at community events, in professional spaces, on stages and sets, and in the lives of the people we serve. It means building partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, and civic organizations that extend our reach and amplify our impact. It means creating platforms — through our casting network, our performance venues, our media programs, and our online presence — where our students can be seen, heard, and hired. An engaged community is a thriving community, and Fashionista Studios is committed to being a catalyst for that thriving in every market we serve.

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

The creative arts are not a destination — they are a lifelong journey. At Fashionista Studios, we instill in every student a love of learning that extends far beyond the completion of any certificate or vocational program. We equip our graduates with the curiosity, the discipline, and the professional habits that sustain a career across decades of change in the industry. Through our alumni network, continuing education offerings, professional development workshops, and industry partnerships, we remain a resource for our graduates long after they leave our programs. We believe that the best artists, performers, and creative professionals never stop growing — and Fashionista Studios is committed to growing alongside them.

S

Stewardship & Service

Stewardship & Service

We hold our resources — our facilities, our faculty, our programs, our finances, and our influence — as gifts entrusted to us by God for the benefit of others. Faithful stewardship means we manage these resources with integrity, transparency, and a long-term view. It means we invest wisely in our campus, our technology, and our people. It means we are accountable to our students, our donors, and our communities for the outcomes we produce. And it means we serve — not as an afterthought, but as a core expression of our mission. Service is woven into every program at Fashionista Studios, from practicum hours in the community to performances that uplift and inspire. We exist not to be served, but to serve — and in doing so, to reflect the heart of Jesus Christ.

Guiding Principle

Guided by H.O.P.E.

Honoring · Obedience · Purpose · Excellence

H

Stands for

Honoring

We honor God in all that we do — in the quality of our programs, the integrity of our operations, and the way we treat every person who walks through our doors. Honoring God is not a departmental value; it is the foundation of every institutional decision.

O

Stands for

Obedience

We are obedient to the calling God has placed on this institution — to train creative professionals who carry their faith into every stage, set, and studio they enter. Obedience means staying true to that calling even when it is costly, countercultural, or inconvenient.

P

Stands for

Purpose

Every program, every partnership, and every investment at Fashionista Studios is driven by purpose — the clear, God-given mission to develop Christ-centered artists and professionals who make a lasting impact in their industries and communities.

E

Stands for

Excellence

We pursue excellence not for recognition, but because our students deserve it and because God is glorified by it. Excellence is the standard we hold in our curriculum, our faculty, our facilities, and our student experience — in year one and in every year that follows.

Guiding Principle

Guided by L.O.V.E.

Legacy · Outreach · Vision · Empowerment

L

Stands for

Legacy

Fashionista Studios is building something that will outlast any single program, any single class, or any single year. We are building a legacy — an institution that will shape the fine and performing arts for generations to come, grounded in faith and driven by excellence.

O

Stands for

Outreach

We reach beyond our walls — into schools, churches, community organizations, and underserved populations — to make the transformative power of arts education accessible to every person God sends our way, regardless of background or circumstance.

V

Stands for

Vision

We are a visionary institution. Our 10-year campus plan, our five-year accreditation roadmap, and our expanding program offerings reflect a bold, faith-filled vision for what Fashionista Studios will become — and what our graduates will accomplish in the world.

E

Stands for

Empowerment

We exist to empower — to equip every student with the skills, the confidence, the professional network, and the spiritual foundation to step fully into the calling God has placed on their life. Empowerment is not a program feature; it is the outcome we measure ourselves by.

Helpful Hands of Jesus

At the heart of everything Fashionista Studios does is a simple, profound conviction: that the hands of Jesus are helpful hands — healing hands, building hands, serving hands, and creating hands. We are called to be those hands in the world. Through our programs, our community partnerships, our giving initiatives, and our daily interactions with students and families, we seek to extend the practical, tangible love of Christ to every person we encounter. The Helpful Hands of Jesus is not a slogan — it is a posture. It is the way we answer the phone, the way we respond to a struggling student, the way we invest in a community that needs hope, and the way we build an institution worthy of the calling God has placed upon it. We are Fashionista Studios. We are the Angels. And we are here to let our light shine.
