Equal Employment Opportunity & Employee Rights

Our commitment to a fair, inclusive, and discrimination-free workplace — in compliance with federal law and the Tennessee Human Rights Act.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025 · Governing Law: State of Tennessee & Federal Law

Equal Employment Opportunity Policy

Fashionista Studios, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. It is our policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.

Tennessee Human Rights Act

In addition to federal protections, Fashionista Studios complies fully with the Tennessee Human Rights Act (T.C.A. § 4-21-101 et seq.), which prohibits discrimination in employment based on race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, or disability.

Tennessee law also prohibits retaliation against any employee or applicant who opposes a discriminatory practice, files a charge of discrimination, or participates in an investigation or proceeding under the Tennessee Human Rights Act.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Fashionista Studios complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA). We provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities in the application process and in the performance of job duties, unless doing so would cause an undue hardship.

If you require a reasonable accommodation to apply for a position or to perform the essential functions of a job, please contact us at the information provided below.

Pregnancy, Childbirth & Related Conditions

Under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Fashionista Studios will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified employees and applicants affected by pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions, unless doing so would cause an undue hardship.

Tennessee law further prohibits discrimination against employees on the basis of pregnancy, and we are committed to providing a supportive and equitable workplace for all employees during and after pregnancy.

Prohibition Against Harassment

Fashionista Studios strictly prohibits workplace harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment, based on any protected characteristic. Harassment includes unwelcome conduct that creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive work environment, or that unreasonably interferes with an individual's work performance.

Any employee or applicant who believes they have been subjected to harassment or discrimination is encouraged to report the conduct immediately to management or to the contact listed below. All complaints will be investigated promptly and confidentially. Retaliation against any person who reports harassment or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited.

Pay Equity

Fashionista Studios is committed to pay equity and complies with the Equal Pay Act of 1963, which prohibits wage discrimination based on sex for substantially equal work performed under similar working conditions.

Tennessee law similarly prohibits wage discrimination. We regularly review our compensation practices to ensure equitable pay across all roles.
